Hello everyone 🙂🥰Today we went to the Kalyan Mosque with our teacher. And now I'm going to give you some information about this place.  The Kalyan Mosque is one of the outstanding monuments of Bukhara, dating back to the fifteenth century. According to data from archaeological excavations, the original Karakhanid Djuma Mosque was destroyed by fire and dismantled, apparently at the time of the Mongolian invasion. Some time later, it was rebuilt, but this reconstructed mosque did not remain long. A new mosque was built in the fifteenth century, at the time of the Sheybanids, according to written sources of the time.Under Temur, the construction of monumental buildings was concentrated in Samarkand and Shahrisabz. However, under Ulughbek, the powerful clergy of Bukhara initiated the construction of a new Djuma Mosque on the site of the old one. Its dimensions are just slightly smaller than those of the Bibi-Khanum, Temur's congregational mosque in Samarkand. However, Bukhara

Hello dears. Today our destination was Ismail Samani. The mausoleum is considered one of the iconic examples of early Islamic architecture[3] and is known as the oldest funerary building of Central Asian architecture.[4] The Samanids established their de facto independence from the Abbasid Caliphate in Baghdad and ruled over parts of modern Afghanistan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan. It is the only surviving monument from the Samanid era, but American art historian Arthur Upham Pope called it the "one of the finest in Persia

Hi everyone 👋 .Today we went to the CHASHMI AYUB with our group and teacher Matluba Ahmedovna. We learned about its history. We got a lot of information.  Mausoleum of Chashma-Ayub is the religious building in the heart of Bukhara. It consists of the mausoleum and a holy spring. Today it includes a Museum of Water. The mausoleum was built by the order of Karakhanid rulers in the 12th century It was rebuilt several times during the 14th-19th centuries. During the Tamerlane's reign the mausoleum was completed. The building features four rooms, located on the East-West axis. Each room is topped with a dome. The western room was the first building and was built as a sepulchral tower; the rest rooms were built later. This mausoleum is related to a legend of the Prophet Job. Once Bukhara suffered from desert winds and residents suffered from a drought. People prayed Allah for a miracle. And the God heeded their requests. At that time the Prophet Job had a trip through Bukhara lands. H

Hi everyone 👋 Today we went to the Abdullakan timi .we learned about its history. We got a lot of information. Tim Abdullah Khan is a self-contained, introverted market space, distinct from the famed crossroad markets (taqs) of Bukhara.  What does Tim mean?  Tim(Pers. Taj.) — a covered market, a high roof, a dome of a stall. In ancient times, teams were mainly located in the centers of large cities, at the intersections of streets, chorsu, guzar square, near caravanserais. Covered by a huge dome, it houses several craft shops and stalls. Timlar was important in determining the architectural image of the city. Markets and stalls of Sughds in the city are called "suk" in Arabic sources, and those located at the crossroads are called "chokhorsuk" or chorsu. Later, shopping centers were built in the center of the street with 4 intersecting sides Abdullakhan Timi is the largest covered shopping mall in Bukhara .  Hello.Today we travelled around the Madrasah named Kukeldash. It was built in 1568-1569 by Abdullakhon 2 and funded by Kulbaba.Kulbaba was the foster brother of Abdullakhon. So Madrasah was named after him. “Kukeldash” literally means “foster brother”. In hierarchy of the power, inherited from Genghis Khan the word “kukeldash” marked one of the more important court positions. The organizer of Kukeldash madrasah was the authoritative Emir named Kulbaba. He was keeping his post of kukeldash for the period of several khans of Shaybanid Dynasty. Emir Kulbaba Kukeldash facilitated Abdullah Khan II during his rise to power. According to the sacred tradition of the election of the Khan, each new Khan was raised on the canvas of white skin. Only four most influential people in the society could pull the cloth. Emir Kulbaba was among those who enthroned Abdullah Khan. Thanks for your attention☺

Nadir Divan-begi Madrasah is a part of the architectural complex located round well-known Lyabi-Hauz in Bukhara. The madrasah building, as well as khanaka nearby, were named after vizier Nadir by whose order they were constructed. Vizier Nadir served at a court yard of one the strongest and powerful representatives of Ashtarkhanid dynasty Imamkuli-khan, who ruled in Bukhara in 1611-1642. The board of Imamkuli-khan was one of the most stable and relatively peaceful for the whole history of Ashtarkhanids in Bukhara. It was time when governors paid attention not only to constant wars, but also to town-planning. Today we learned a lot of new information about this Thank you for your attention ☺🌺

MirArab Madrasa

Hi everyone Today we went to Mir Arab madrasah. There are two big blue domes of the Miri-Arab madrasah towering above the surrounding buildings in the center of Bukhara. Along with the Kalyan mosque and minaret, this religious educational establishment forms the whole ensemble Poi-Kalyan that is the spiritual center of the city. Construction of the Miri-Arab madrasah dates back to the 16th century and is related to the sheikh Abdallah Yamani (from Yemen), the spiritual pir (guide) of sheybanids. The exact date of the beginning of the construction is still unknown. According to one version, scientists believe that the building was erected in the period of 1530-1535 This place is so interesting and intriguing for me because even today it is used to teach students as  in past about religious subjects📚
